Raveena Tandon`s cricket connections have always hit the headlines. While earlier, it was for link ups with frontline cricketers like Ajay Jadeja and Rahul Dravid, this time round it`s a film on cricket that has put the spotlight on the actress.

Raveena`s production house, Reel Life Entertainment Private Limited, is coming out with Stumped, a Hinglish film, which will be released in February to coincide with the Cricket World Cup. The film is to be written and directed by Gaurav Pandey, a debutant director.

Aamir Khan and Ashutosh Gowarikar`s Lagaan was one of the recent films to deal with cricket. The film was a major success not just with the Indian audience, but also with an international audience completely naive about the `gentleman`s game`. Given the cricket craze in the country, Raveena`s film is bound to be on a strong wicket!
